I like the video included in the post! Good touch. I’m not familiar with the Rosa paint brand but am an avid collector of paint. My absolute favorite is the Daniel Smith brand but coming in a close second is the schminke granulating colors…and then Kutetake and then…oh dear we may have a hoarding issue. 😉
Nice collection! It inspires me to practice more…I love the craftsmanship of the Rotring and the compactness of the Rosa. I’m bit tempted to get a set of Rosa, but I’m keeping my impulse in check, don’t think i will use all of the colors, I might consider buying a few colors individually instead. I really love the burnt sienna and sap green colors..
The Rotring have their difficulties too, drying up particularly the very fine nib ones, 0.2 etc. I definitely but too much stuff but s few key cults and some mixing skills can go a long way. You can't go far wrong with a small palette: red, ultramarine, yellow, burnt sienna, alazarin crimson and sap green, neutral tint or a paynes grey
Thanks Carl. Will check for a small palette package next time I visit the art supply shop. I’m learning more about color mixing and am captivated by the Mid-century Modern color palette.
Thank you for showing us your abundant collection. I love that Naples Rose, I wonder can you buy it in W&N or DS paints, I’ll check. I also keep saying I don’t need anymore paint, paper or whatever, I need to learn to mix paints more. I haven’t forgotten that stile… 😊

Hi Carl, no you didn’t talk me into it, I just loved the colour of the Naples Rose and rather than just buy that I thought I would buy the same size set you have, I think it has twelve? colours, I didn’t think it necessary to get the complete set.
