I’ve finally finished another the sketchbook started last year!
I’m definitely not the only one that has a number of books on the go that fall in and out of favour, but this RKB fatpad certainly fell out of favour. I moved away from A4 wiro bound format and didn’t quite hit it of with the paper. My drawing focus not only regularly shifts around the size, quality and texture of the book but also the process and the way I work. Some were definitely more experimental than others.

No #8 is the Botanical Ultra Smooth, RKB fatpad, wiro bound, A4. It is priced anywhere between £20 - £25.

Oh you don't put a date on your pages? I remember the Churro Cathedral! I like the keyboard one and the boat and the cathedral...and I don't remember anymore others hehe! Yeah, I hear you on the paper factor, it can be crucial. I am about to finish my Faber-Castell Watercolour Ps 190gm acid free - I found it at TK Maxx for a ridiculous price! Hey, not sure if you have seen my latest post/display of my sketch paintings (from Slovenia and my new place)?
I bought that same pad because of the bargain price in TK maxi! It doesn't take the water too well but at the price point I use for scribbles and trying some pencils
